Sunbathing

It's a pretty nice day, so I decided I'd like to sunbathe.

It's also fun to just look outside. Most of the time, I like to watch out the front window (I'm doing that right now. Some lady walked by our house. I barked.) Sometimes the backyard is interesting, though, and I'll watch for deer or squirrels.

One thing I love to do when the camera comes out: pose. I know which side is my good side (actually, every side is a good side). Who doesn't like to strike a pose every now and then?

Fun Times

Today has been a great day! I snacked on some treats, lounged around, took a nap here and there, had a barking match with Alissa (my human sister), snuggled with Mom, had another barking match, and got new treats! Mom just came home from the store, and she had new treats for me, so of course I had to try one right away. I love the days when I get bunches of treats. Those days make me a happy doggeh.

Good Boys Get Good Treats

So I've learned that if I want a really good treat--the whole treat, not just part of it--I have to be a very good boy. Usually it involves tricks or obeying a command. Just now, I had the opportunity to do so. It's bed time, so I get a little treat when I go into my kennel. The problem is that my kennel is in my sister's room. She doesn't go to sleep right away, and I get upset and start barking. She started giving me a little piece of my treat and letting me lay down in my kennel while she cleaned or watched a movie. Then she'd give me the other piece when she was ready to go to sleep. Tonight, I got the WHOLE treat at one time because I patiently waited on the couch while she cleaned up the downstairs. She was so proud, and I was happy for a good treat! Lesson learned: Do what I'm told and get more treats.

New Blog!

Well, after a little consideration (and some difficulties), I have decided to go with Blogger for my new blog. So once again, my baby picture for my baby blog. I hope you enjoy, and I hope we have a great time together!
